Flint River Ranch's Lamb, Millet and Rice Adult Dog Food is specifically formulated for those dogs that are allergic to wheat, corn and/or chicken. Nothing has been spared with the quality ingredients, blending and the oven-baking manufacturing process. The production process - premium quality Lamb Meat - Menhaden Fish - Whole Ground Grains - Grapeseed Oil - Flaxseed - Rosemary - Chelated Minerals - Natural Tocopherols (antioxident) along with probiotics and digestive enzymes - synergistically provide the very finest diet for food-sensitive adult dogs.
The food is very rich and highly digestible in the dog's system - care must be taken not to over-feed. The same advice is given with our regular Flint River Ranch Puppy and Adult Dog Food. Because the food is concentrated, a standard 8 ounch cup holds 4.3 ounces of food. This compares to an average 3.3 ounces in most extruded foods.
When you compare the 40 pound regular Flint River Ranch with the 40 pound Lamb, Millet and Rice, the price difference is about 9 cents a pound. A standard 8 oz cup will hold 4.3 ounces of food. Feeding 2.5 to 3 cups a day is about 6 to 7 cents a day. It is far less expensive than prescription diet foods.
