A TRIBUTE TO WHICKER
Wicker left us for green pastures on May 11, 2009. We areso sad to loose her presence in our
lives. We know that she is still
here in our hearts and will never leave.
Karl and I cared for Whicker for her owner, our dear friend
Jan Kennedy, often. While Jan was taking care of her Mom,
Corinne Kennedy, Whicker would often stay here at Meadow Ridge Kennels with her
best friend, Mr. Reiker (her brother.)
I have to say, there was never a moment when I
Did not marvel at Whicker’s energy. She was a dog that could
jump straight up in the air as if she
had springs on her back legs. She was
such a gorgeous and photogenic
dog that it was very easy to want to take more and more pictures of her.
Jan was so happy when
Whicker became more affectionate later in her life because you couldn’t really
get that out of her when she was younger.
That didn’t mean she wasn’t one of the most friendly dogs I have ever
know, she was. She just would not
cuddle until she was much older.
Whicker is greatly missedby us... Jan, Carlene,
Karl, Brachan, Hamish (heloved her tail), and even Maggie.
But, we are sure we’ll see our friend again in the greener pastures of
the rainbow bridge.
