HERE are our final DHI milk test results.  SADLY this was our last year on DHI testing because of time constraints.  I will however be personally testing the milk weights on our goats in 2012 and will put them on this page.  Here is how it works: Example: 2-00-20-305-602-34(5.6%)24(4.0%) 318-612-35-25 This means that the doe was four years, seven months at the time she freshened, and was officially measured at 20” during the lactation (miniature breeds only). In 305 days, which is the standard length of lactation, she gave six hundred and two pounds of milk, 34 pounds of fat averaging 5.6%, and twenty four pounds of protein averaging 4.0%. She milked past her 305 days, so her final record was six hundred and twelve pounds of milk, thirty five pounds of fat, and twenty five pounds of protein in three hundred and eighteen days.
