TRIBUTE TO MAGGIE Maggie, you are gone but I’ll see you again dear friend.   I never met a dog so human in my life!!! Maggie was always a little upset when her mommy, Jan (our comrad and friend) would have her come to see us but within a few moments she would look at me and seem to say, “ Oh!  I’m here !  I get it !  Now we have fun in the country playing and spending time with you ,Carlene and Karl.”  She loved to play with me and when I would go out to the kennel, she’d always get bouncy and happy , not so much for the food I might bring but just to BE WITH ME.   I think of you often, Maggie, and I know you are happy now with Reiker and Whicker.    Maggie, you will always have a very special place in my heart and memories and as I think of the fun times we had, I wish you were here.  Sometimes you would have to come up from N.J. just to have SURGERY from Dr. Chuck but in your typical staunch style, you took even that in stride with out blinking .... I know Dr. Chuck would tell you special things when you were at his clinic because you seemed to tell me about the times there that were never a problem but rather you knew you were loved.   I thank you Maggie for the loving special times we had together and I miss you very much   Love Carlene (and Karl too)
